* A family is defined as two heads of household and their dependent children through the age of 25 who reside at the same address.
** SYAC membership, men only, includes use of a daily towel service, key operated lockers, a lounge area with a big screen TV, billiard room and daily laundry service for workout apparel, dry sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Massages can also be scheduled with the in-house massage therapist at discounted rates.
***The 30 Below membership category is for working professionals who earn less than $30,000 per year. This is for individual memberships only. This membership requires proof of income.
Membership For All
The YMCA of Greater Syracuse believes that everyone should have an opportunity to participate in membership and programs at any one of our three branches. Membership For All is available for those who may not have the ability to pay for YMCA stated fees.
An income-based membership for families and individuals with a household income that is less than $60,000. Membership For All is designed to fit everyone’s financial situation based on a sliding scale format.
Registration Fee
Membership Application
An association registration fee is required of all new members. This fee is to be paid in full at the time of enrollment. Memberships that have expired or have been cancelled for more than 30 days are subject to repayment of the registration fee to renew memberships.
Family, Adult, SYAC, SYAC Family & Senior Couple: $49.00
Young Adult, 26/26, Senior Citizen, Membership For All: $26.00
Payment Options
1. Monthly Automatic Payment Plan: Electronically deducts your monthly membership rate from your charge card or checking account. Activation of the monthly bank draft requires: first month’s payment*, a signed completed draft form and registration fee if it is a new membership.
2. Annual Full Payment
*The month always begins on the 20th. Prorated charges may apply depending on the day of the month.
Cancellation
Return of membership cards are required to terminate your membership. We must receive your written request by the 5th of the month to process for that month.
